Learning All About Hugs

Nicholas is learning many new things, but his most recent, and by far the favorite is hugging. And we have Cousin Eli to thank for teaching us how to hug:

"Wait, just one more. Pleeease, Eli?"

Poor Eli. He can't even play with the cars because Nicholas wants another hug.

And the next time we saw Eli, the hugging attempts began again.

OK, maybe reading together is a little safer at this point.

Eli, thanks so much for teaching Nicholas how to hug. We know Nicholas still needs to work on the "gentle" concept, but you are such a good sport about letting him try to hug you back. You two play very well together and we are excited for all the other things you will teach him as you both grow up!
